A few weeks ago I did a promo photoshoot for The Greening Project starring two beautiful girls, Cathryn and Eloise.
The Greening Project is an exciting new not-for-profit organisation in Perth, Western Australia. They actively connect communities through the shared experience of growing trees and the celebration of planting trees. They work locally and organize tree planting festivals in your community!
Anyone can get involved, like them on facebook or check out their website.
I’d set myself the task of eliminating all plastics from my packaging, here is what I did with Matt & Kelli’s thank you cards recently.
They’re printed on 100% recycled paper, presented in reusable materials and hand delivered :)
I think the whole package turned out pretty cute!
We’ve planted a variety of seeds in our little green house a few days ago, and so far the thyme has been the first ones to make an appearance. It is such a beautiful sight so see, so little and delicate!
This beautiful horses name is Bob and he did a wonderful job of bringing Kelli to wed Matt at Brookleigh in Swan Valley, Western Australia.
Well, thought I might share something new with you all tonight from a recent bit of photography fun I had down near the South Fremantle Power Station. Many of you reading this, especially those in photography circles would be aware of the power station, especially due to it’s popularity with photographers. However, it is far more common to see photographs the inside of the building featuring models or simply showcasing the extensive display of urban art (or graffiti, depending on how you look at it).
Personally, I find this building’s skeleton appearance from the outside far more foreboding than the empty insides, and yet strangely beautiful. I hope you enjoy my selected favorite image from the night’s adventure!

Kate & David married on the 7th January 2012, at the beautiful Villa Pourzand.
While David has been working away for the past 2 years they sent love letters back and forth until they exchanged final letters to each other during their ceremony, as David has returned to work in Perth permanently where they can now begin their lives together under one roof. There was more than a few teary eyes in the room by this point.
Live jazz band Alcatraz had everyone up and dancing all night

Well, here it is! Issue 175 of Australian 4WD Action hit the shelves this week on the 4th of January. Featured in this issue is the travel article on the 4WD hotspot that is the Brunswick/Collie region south of Perth.
Special mention goes out to Drew on this one. Drew came along in the little Suzuki Jimny and puts up with my constant fiddling with camera setups and frequent stops for pictures on all the trips we do together. On many occasions, Drew has repeatedly tackled an obstacle in pursuit of the ultimate picture.
Anyway, pick up a copy from any decent newsagent until the end of the month and let us know what you thought!

I love this shot and they loved it just as much as I did because they now have it hanging up on their wall at home. Yay! Possibility my favourite shot from this session.
Or this one could also be my favourite, the sun was so beautiful and they’re so in love!
Kate and David are getting married this Saturday (4 more days Kate!) and I am so excited to be shooting it, it is going to be truly wonderful.
